What should I expect on
registration night?
On registration night, April 3, 6:30 PM through 8:30 PM, you will be guided through the registration process. The process includes written, speaking, and reading English skill assessments so we can understand which class will best support your learning. If you cannot complete any of the assessments, that is ok! We have a beginner class for you. If you can, you may be placed in one of the intermediate levels based on your current skill levels. Each class can hold approximately 12 students and class assignments will be made on a first-come basis so please plan to arrive on time to have the best chance of a class assignment. You must attend on registration night and receive a class assignment in order to attend the classes.
What should I expect on
class night?
Class will begin promptly at 6:30 PM and end promptly at 8:30 PM, with one short break in the middle. Your teacher and any class assistants will guide you through the night's lesson, and you will be provided with the textbooks and handouts needed. Textbooks will remain at the church between classes, but handouts and any notes you take are yours to keep. Our goal is to make the lessons engaging and useful, so come ready to learn together!
