Toddler Classroom Teachers

Jael Sesay - Lead Teacher

Jael has been with Refuge Early Learning Center since 2020. She has an associate degree in Pharmaceutical Science and has also achieved her NC Early Childhood Education credential. She is working toward her associate degree in Early Childhood Education.

She loves watching the children grow and learn every day at Refuge in a family-style environment. Jael loves the students, families, and the staff that she is blessed to interact with daily.

Outside of spending time with the little ones, Jael enjoys cooking and trying new foods, shopping, exploring new places, and discovering new activities.

Linaizha Ampley - Assistant Teacher

Linaizha attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and earned her bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies. Soon she will begin her master’s degree program there for Early Childhood Leadership. She has been teaching at Refuge since 2023.

She believes all children should have the opportunity to experience learning in ways that are unique to their individual development. She has seen first-hand how early childhood learning sets children up for the next stages of their education.

In her free time, she enjoys sewing and working on various arts and crafts projects.

Alora Friddle - Assistant Teacher

Alora began working with Refuge Early Learning Center in 2025. She is in her first year of teaching and is looking forward to shaping young lives and helping them grow.

She grew up in Greensboro and is new to the Raleigh community. When not teaching, Alora loves to read and play video games. She also enjoys learning Spanish and Dutch. She is currently working toward becoming fluent in both languages and would like to eventually move to the Netherlands.
